
The Pirate and Princess Academy - This show was really fun for the kids! It was very interactive and allowed them to become an honor pirate or princess for the day. This spot has some really fun arcade games and an indoor climbing wall! It’s located right within SoundWaves, just take the elevator down.Ĭheck out our TikTok video for SoundWaves Nashville! If you are looking for a break from the water activities while you’re at SoundWaves, check out The Basement. The park was not crowded during our visit which was nice, we were able to spread and social distancing was easy. We ended up bringing our own but were pleasantly surprised to see that they had plenty available for use. Towels are provided at SoundWaves and so are life vests for the kids.

The kids couldn’t get enough of the wave pool, lazy river, and the water slides. The majority of our time was spent on the main level and outdoors. We ended up grabbing some lounge chairs in this area.


We will depart Nashville this afternoon and return home this evening.SoundWaves had a really amazing kiddie pool area on the second level perfect for our 1 year old daughter and a safe spot for our older kids to play with a waterslide and giant bucket of water that would drop down and splash them. This morning, we make the short trip to Music City USA, Nashville, TN where we will be spending the next two nights! A stay at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center is nothing but exquisite! This awe inspiring Hotel is accented by more than 9 acres of indoor gardens and sparkling waterways. The carpet has changed on the impressive Magnolia staircase and much more has been added over the years but it continues to provide that welcoming, retreat atmosphere every time we return. Jeff and I spent our first honeymoon night in June of 1984 at the Resort. The Gaylord Opryland Resort has been a very special place for our family. Going during the warm season is great because there is as much outdoors as there is indoors to enjoy! This is not a water park, it is an exclusive experience for Gaylord guests only - so it’s never too crowded. The Groovin’ Lagoon is for all ages with it’s lily pad walk and 30 foot water curtain.

I am not much for swimming, but the SoundWaves Experience at the Gaylord was so much fun with our family this year.
